Shade, snacks and naps
Children run out of patience with the sun long before adults do, so shade is the first thing to think about. The motor boat with the sun deck has a shaded upper deck and a covered lower deck with seating as well as its bow sun deck, which gives little ones somewhere cool to rest.
Hungry children make for a long day. Food or lunch and soft drinks are options you can add, priced in your quote; tell us about any allergies or fussy eaters when you ask. Pack the snacks your children know and like, too.
Swimming with children
Swimming off the boat is the part many children look forward to. A few simple rules keep it relaxed for everyone:
- Children swim only with an adult beside them in the water.
- The captain decides where and when the boat stops for swimming, depending on sea and weather.
- The motor boat's stern platform and swim ladder make getting in and out easier.
- Bring any swimming aids your children are used to.
Choosing the package and the boat
For young children, the daytime package (10:00–15:00) usually works better: more swimming, lunch at a normal time and back by mid-afternoon. The sunset package from 15:00 suits older children.
