How to Book a Private Boat in Side, Step by Step

Step 1: Choose a boat, or let us choose with you

You can start from the boat or from the day. If one of the eight boats on our fleet page has caught your eye, name it in your request. If not, tell us what the day is for (a swimming day with children, a quiet evening for two, a birthday with friends) and we suggest a match.

We do not publish capacities, so we always check the boat against your group size before quoting. For help weighing up the types, read gulet, motor yacht or wooden boat.

Not sure yet? That is normal. Many requests start with a sentence like 'two families, four children, we want to swim', and that is enough for us to suggest two or three boats that fit, with the reasons.

Step 2: Pick daytime or sunset

There are two packages. Daytime runs from 10:00 to 15:00, five hours that leave plenty of room for swimming and lunch. Step 3: Send your date, group and options

This is the step that decides how fast we can answer. A complete request usually means a single reply with a firm price. Use the quote form or write to us on WhatsApp with:

• —Your date, and a second date if you are flexible
• —The package: daytime or sunset
• —Number of adults, and children with their ages (children count as guests)
• —The boat you would like, or 'match one for us'
• —Options: hotel transfer, food or lunch, soft drinks (ask us about any other drinks)
• —Anything special: a birthday, an anniversary, a proposal, mobility needs

Step 4: Receive your quote

We reply with the price for your group and the boat you have chosen. Private boats in Side start from €550 for the whole boat; the figure you receive reflects your guests, the boat, the package and the options. How that quote is put together is explained in our private yacht prices guide.

The quote also tells you how and when you pay. We set payment terms with each quote rather than publishing one rule for every booking, so read that part of the reply before you confirm.

If the figure is not what you expected, tell us. A different boat, the other package or fewer options can change it, and we would rather adjust the plan with you than lose you to a misunderstanding.

Step 5: Confirmation: boat, meeting point and pickup

Once you accept, we confirm three things in writing:

• —The boat reserved for your group
• —The meeting point: Side harbour or a pier on the Manavgat river, depending on the boat
• —The pickup time, if you added a hotel transfer

On the day, and if plans change

Arrive at the meeting point, or wait for your transfer, and the day is yours. The captain agrees the route and swim stops with you, deciding by sea and weather. Nothing on the boat is shared with another group.

If your plans change, every charter can be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before the start.
